CSWIP Welding Inspector 3.1 Responsibilities: Conducting And Witness of WQT & PQR As per ASME Sec IX, Review of Daily Welding Reports, Verify the inspection of Material and Test certificates prior to Fabrication, Witness for Visual& Fit up inspection Checking fittings & spool details as per drawing Daily monitoring Electrode storage & holding Temperature,Random Checking Welding parameters as per WPS Requirement, Monitoring Daily Welding Activities As per Approved WPS (EEMUA 158 & API 1104), All Documents & Inspection reports maintaining as per ITP, Verify the Calibration Certificates of welding Equipment and Pressure Gauges, DAY to day CO-Ordination & Regular inspection activities along with Projects Consultants and inspection authorities as per QCP & ITP, Checking that all the welding and associated actions are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the agreed welding specifications / procedures, relevant to the work carried out. Coordinating Non Destructive Testing (RT , UT , MPI , PT ) and inspection, Preparation of Inspection reports Welding Material Control ( Electrode, Welding Machine, Welding Rods, Electrode Oven) Visual Inspection before, during and after welding, SMAW, GTAW, SAW, Stud welding process • Monitors the transfer of the unique material identifiers to ensure material traceability where required. • Monitors welding parameters and consumables during installation / construction activities. • Monitor procedure qualification and welder’s qualifications. • Checks the availability and suitability of the filler material and of the preheating, welding, heat treatment, the bevels, the extent of the repairs made by the various welders. • Performs pipe line up check, ensuring that all installed pipe/fittings are to the correct specification and that the material is in accordance with the specified Material Traceability requirements. Structural and Piping Welding, functioning on the site rolling mill, Jacket and Structural, Piping, Jumper Spools (Clad steel) and Sub-sea spools. Including welding procedure qualification, welding qualification test. Jackets Project which is contracted to BP/AIOC and SOCAR and MCCI, Saipem and Maersk Drilling Rig Projects. Welding process and ancillaries: WPS’s, Structure & Piping, Subsea spools Incoming Consumables: CS, SS, DUPLEX, SUPER DUPLEX. Check the: Before Welding, During Welding, After Welding, Repairs. Check and monitor NDT requirement. NDT reports. Post Weld Heat Treatment Heating method and temperature recording system. Witness to Mechanical Tests PQR, WQT, Materials Check and Monitor for COP Project, Structural, Piping, Pipeline PQR, WQT General Final Inspection and Documentation, Signed of Reports All Hydrotesting process inspection. COP Jacket, Subsea Project which is contracted to BP/AIOC & SOCAR.
